GCA aiming to have 100 showrooms in 3 yrs

Kochi: Green Consumer Applicances, promoted by Northfield Impex private ltd, was aiming to have a network of 100 showrooms in the state in three years time.
This would be through own flagship counters, major takeovers and franchise outlets, company Managing Director M N Riyas and CEO K M Fajal told a joint press meet here.
The company was also planning to launch its own brand with products ranging from air conditioners, washing machines and small appliances.
The newly launched Northfield Impex, has been floated by 3 groups-Saudi Arabia based Crown group, Colombo group and Northfields group from Dubai, and has 7 seven showrooms in the state within 100 days of its formation.
The company was expecting a first year turnover of rs 70 crore and was aiming to touch a sales target of rs 50 crore for onam, they said.
"We are planning to open 8 more showrooms before Onam and 100 more showrooms in the next 3 years, Riyas, said.
