Trident Ltd bags award for excellence in textiles industry

AHMEDABAD: Trident Limited bags the CITI-Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation award for excellence in the textiles industry for 2011-12. Trident Limited was selected from a total of 17 applicants for 'excellence in human resource management'.

This annual award is granted by the Foundation for a specified activity every year. The Ludhiana-based textile conglomerate got selected by a jury headed by director of the Bombay Textile Research Association A Desai with directors of ATIRA, NITRA and SITRA.

The award consisting of a cheque for Rs. 2 lakh and a citation was presented to Trident Ltd president DK Mittal by Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) chief S Arumugam in the 54th Annual General Meeting of the Confederation recently.
