Textile spares expo to begin from July 27
The 3rd edition of International Expo, 'Tex Spares-2006,' would begin here on July 27.
The objective of the five-day exhibition is to create and promote public awareness about the availability of all kinds of textile spares, accessories, lubricants, electrical and electronic items, a release from the Southern India Mills' Association (SIMA), the organisors, said on Sunday.
Claiming that the favourable industrial scenario had attracted more number of participants for the event, Dr K V Srinivasan, Chairman, Texspares, said exhibitors were preparing themselves well in advance to showcase the products.
It had also attracted many new overseas textile machinery, equipment manufacturers, including many from China and Europe, besides all the leading wind turbine generator makers, he said
About 200 organisations in the field of textile machinery and spares of ginning, spinning, weaving, processing, knitting, garmenting, energy, consummables, electricals, electronics and IT have confirmed their participation in the event.
Tex spares would provide opportunities for import substitution, a platform for buyers and sellers under one roof, and also provide new vendors adequate exposure to the Indian textiles and clothing machinery and spares market, Srinivasan said.
