TCNS Clothing to invest Rs 60 cr to set up 100 outlets

Women's wear manufacturer TCNS Clothing Pvt Ltd is planning to open 100 new stores in the next three years with an investment of up to Rs 60 crore under the brand name 'W'.

NEW DELHI: Women's wear manufacturer TCNS Clothing Pvt Ltd is planning to open 100 new stores in the next three years with an investment of up to Rs 60 crore under the brand name 'W'.

"We are planning to open 100 new stores in the next three years. Each of these stores will be opened with an average investment of Rs 60 lakh," TCNS Clothing Pvt Ltd CEO Vijay Mishra said on the sidelines of the Pure & Play Retail Summit here on Monday.

The company, which mostly caters to the premium segment, is also making a foray into the budget segment with the launch of low cost brands.

TCNS presently has 30 exclusive outlets, most of them having an average size of 1,000 sq ft.

The company now plans to increase the area size of their outlets as they go on setting up more stores in the next three years.

"We will increase the size of our outlets in the future by up to 1,500 sq ft," he said.

TCNS is also looking to foray into jewellery and other fashion accessories segment and is presently talking to various players.
