Surana acquires Soundarapandi Stores

Surana Group of Companies, a four- decade-old company floated by Hastimal Surana, has acquired Soundarapandi Stores, a well known textile shop network in Chennai.

CHENNAI: Surana Group of Companies, a four- decade-old company floated by Hastimal Surana, has acquired Soundarapandi Stores, a well known textile shop network in the city.

The group would strengthen the network by opening a retail chain not only in the city but also in various parts of Tamil Nadu, a company press release said.

The group also plans to set up a chain of exclusive men's apparel shops, it added.
