Suditi bags rights for Real Madrid fan wear in India

Suditi, which manufactured and sold the FIFA World Cup 2014 fan merchandise in the country, bought third-party merchandising rights from German sports goods maker Adidas.

MUMBAI: Mumbai-based textiles firm Suditi Industries has bagged the rights to make and sell official apparels of Real Madrid, the world’s richest football club, in India.

Animesh Maheshwari, retail head of Suditi Industries, said the company will invest Rs 10-15 crore to manufacture fan wear of the highly popular Spanish club and expects that the threeto-five-year deal will add Rs 30-50 crore to its top line.

Suditi, which manufactured and sold the FIFA World Cup 2014 fan merchandise in the country, bought third-party merchandising rights from German sports goods maker Adidas, which owns the global licensing rights of Real Madrid.
