OCM expects Rs 160 cr turnover by 2008
Amritsar-based textile manufacturer OCM India Ltd on Wednesday said that it was looking to achieve turnover of Rs 160 crore by the end of this financial year.
"As of now, our sales stands at Rs 125 crore and we expect it to reach Rs 160 crore by the end of this year," OCM India CEO Rajeev Surana said here today.
The company, this year, entered into a strategic alliance with Burlington WorldWide (BWW) for manufacturing and sale of worsted wool fabrics under the Burlington brand in the domestic market.
"BWW would provide technical and manufacturing support for exporting our products in overseas markets including USA, Europe and Asian countries. Moreover, it would also give us marketing support for selling in domestic market as well," he said.
OCM, established 80 years ago, has wide range of products including fine pure wool suiting to polyester wool and various wool blended combinations with silk, cashmere, mohair, camel hair.
