AHMEDABAD: A fire broke out at Reliance Industries' textile unit in Naroda area on Saturday, prompting authorities to shut the facility for a while, fire brigade officials said.
No injuries were reported due to the blaze, they said. "The unit has been shut down till the entire work of the fire department is over. We had to snap the power supply till the blaze was brought under control at the basement of one of the structures," Fire Brigade Officer C R Varma said.
The cause of the fire was not known and would be probed by the company officials, the officials added.
