Bombay Rayon's net profits up 68 % at Rs 8.03 cr

.....MUMBAI: Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd has clocked 68 per cent growth in net profits at Rs 8.03 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, against Rs 4.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.....

.....The sales of the company for Q1 showed a rise of 87 per cent at Rs 82.36 crore as against Rs 44.09 crore in the same quarter last year.....

....The improvement in the sales is on account of growth in garment exports business, which jumped by 80 per cent in this quarter, company said in a release here....

Commenting on the results, Company MD Prashant Agarwal said, "With new Bangalore unit of 26,000 peices per day capacity commissioned last quarter of 2005-06 and the integrated textile project running as per schedule, the second quarter of this fiscal will see manufacturing capacity up to 62,000 peices per day,".....
