Tata Tea Q1 net up 2.64% at Rs 44.56 cr
Tata Tea Ltd on Wednesday posted a 2.64 % rise in net profit at Rs 44.56 cr for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 43.41 cr in the corresponding quarter in 2005-06.

MUMBAI: Tata Tea Ltd on Wednesday posted a 2.64 % rise in net profit at Rs 44.56 cr for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 43.41 cr in the corresponding quarter in 2005-06.
Total income rose to Rs 265.58 cr for the first quarter in 2006-07, up 9.57% from Rs 242.38 cr during the Q1 FY 05-06, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The Group reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 80.07 cr for the quarter ended June 30, as against Rs 86.38 cr for the same quarter in FY 05-06.
Consolidated total income of the group increased to Rs 806.37 cr for Q1 FY 06-07 from Rs 719.29 cr for Q1 FY 05-06.
