REIL signs pact for manufacturing milk analyzers in India

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd ( REIL) has signed an agreement with Bulgarian firm Milkotronic Ltd for transfer of technology for manufacturing of milk analyzers in India.

The two companies signed the agreement at Hannover Messe, Germany, an official release said today.

These analyzers are used to measure various parameters in milk.

"There had been a need for a reliable, dependable and affordable equipment for measurement of FAT, SNF and other parameters at collection centres," REIL Director A K Jain said.

"In line with the initiative 'Make in India' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, REIL signed this agreement for manufacturing these Milk Analysers at their Works at Jaipur and provide after sales support through their country-wide network," Jain said, adding that these analysers are being imported at present.
