AHMEDABAD: In a bid to capitalise on the ongoing pesticide-in-cola controversy, Ahmedabad-based soft-drink concentrate company Rasna has launched Rasna Signature Mocktails.
The company has tied up with major retail stores as well as Indian Railways to sell its product, which is targeted at all age groups.
"Cola controversy has made the soft drink market sluggish. This is the right time to infuse more life into our products which are healthy to drink," says Aurobindo Mohanty, vice-president (Marketing), Rasna.
The company will use its network of 17,00,000 distributors as well as tie-ups with Indian Railways, Sahara Airlines and retailers to reach out to customers. The SDC market is estimated at Rs 600 crore, growing at 30%.
"The new launch, in five flavours, will help us stand out among the highly competitive fruit drink market," says Mr Mohanty.
