The revised prices will go into effect from Wednesday in Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand, according to the company's notification.
The company said the price revision has been necessitated due to a sharp increase in procurement costs, which have risen by Rs 4–Rs 5 per litre over the past few months.
A spokesperson for Mother Dairy explained that the surge in procurement prices is primarily due to the early onset of summer and prevailing heatwave conditions, which have impacted milk production and supply.
The revised prices will be applicable across all markets where Mother Dairy operates.
New price list for Mother Dairy milk
The price of full cream milk has increased from Rs 68 to Rs 69 for the 1000 ml pack and from Rs 34 to Rs 35 for the 500 ml pack.
Meanwhile, toned milk will be priced at Rs 57 per litre up from Rs 56, and Rs 29 for 500 ml which was earlier Rs 28. Double toned (Live Lite) milk will now cost Rs 51 per litre, up from Rs 49, and Rs 26 for the 500 ml pack, up from Rs 25.
Cow milk will see a hike from Rs 57 to Rs 59 per litre, and from Rs 29 to Rs 30 for the 500 ml pack.
