Mother Dairy implements Ramco's 'ERP on Cloud'

CHENNAI: Milk and dairy major Mother Dairy has implemented Ramco Systems' cloud services to connect its sub-contractors with an end-to-end enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

"In the first phase, sub-contractors of Mother Dairy's ice-cream business have gone live on the solution. This has helped Mother Dairy get better control over purchase, visibility of supply, ensure centralised approvals across locations...", Chennai-headquartered Ramco Systems said in a statement today.

Besides, it has helped Mother Dairy track consumption pattern, trace batch quality, centralise approval of price list and manage inventory, it said.

"We wanted to connect our ecosystem of sub-contractors with an end-to-end ERP for seamless flow of information. With this implementation, we have been able to reduce manual interventions and achieve greater transparency and accountability...," said Annie Mathew, CIO, Fruit and Vegetable, Mother Dairy.
