Milk procurement in Haryana reaches 8.09 lakh liters per day
The Haryana Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited has achieved a new record by procuring 8.09 lakh liters of milk per day.

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited has achieved a new record by procuring 8.09 lakh liters of milk per day through its village level Co-operative Societies as on December 11 against total procurement of 7.80 lakh liters per day during December month of last year.
It was stated by Dhanpat Singh Managing Director of Haryana Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited in a release issued here today .
He said that if this trend continues, the Federation would achieve milk procurement of nine lakh litres per day.
The Managing Director informed that this unprecedented achievement was possible by paying better milk procurement price and strengthening organizational structure at field level. The Federation has 5,900 village level co-operative societies throughout the state with 1,22,000 milk farmers supplying milk through these societies, he said
