Lite Bite Foods inks JV with Spain’s Eat Out Group

NEW DELHI: Amit Burman-promoted Lite Bite Foods has formed a joint venture with Eat Out Group, a part of the Spain-based business house Agrolimen, to establish a chain of specialty restaurants in India.
The JV company would pump in Rs 50 crore to establish a network of res-taurants over the next four years. Currently, Eat Out Group, runs over 600 restaurants in Spain and owns brands such as FrescCo, Pans & Company, Bocatta, and Fresh & Ready.
The company would open at least 50 restaurants of the FrescCo concept in India in the next 10 years. As part of its expansion plan, Lite Bite Foods will separately invest nearly e35 million to set up a chain of 200 restaurants across India.
