Kellogg names Mohit Anand as MD

Prior to Unilever, Anand was with another consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble where he worked across functions including marketing for India, Philippines and Singapore.

NEW DELHI: Cereal maker Kellogg India on Tuesday named former Unilever official Mohit Anand as managing director for its India and South Asia business. Anand succeeds Sangeeta Pendurkar, who has stepped down after a six-year stint.

The maker of Special K and honey loops cereal said in a statement that Anand, who moves from Unilever where he was global VP based out of London, would also be a member of the the Kellogg Asia Pacific leadership team.

ET was the first to report about Anand being named for the top job at Kellogg India last month.

Anand said in a statement: “The India breakfast and snacks market in particular is constantly evolving with dynamic consumption trends and entry of several players.”
