Sales for the quarter for Jubuilant FoodWorks, at Rs 795 crore, were up 20.7% over the year-ago quarter.

Indicating revival in the eating out sector, Jubilant FoodWorks, operator of Domino’s Pizza and Dukin Donuts on Friday reported 17.8% increase in same store growth (SSG) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2017. Sales for the quarter, at Rs 795 crore, were up 20.7% over the year-ago quarter.

The company attributed the growth to every day value deals, online ordering which contribute up to 60% of delivery revenue, and said Dunkin’ Donuts losses continue to reduce with sharper focus on donuts and beverages and closure of unprofitable stores.

JFL chief executive Pratik Pota said in a statement: “Sharp focus on the consumer through a significantly improved product and every day value pricing led to robust same store sales growth. Tight control on costs led to healthy margin expansion during the quarter.”
