Jindal Agro produces Indian recipes across eight countries

VADODARA: M/S Jindal Agro Processing (P) Limited, a venture of Jindal Hotels Limited set up in the city on December 14, 2007, has been producing authentic Indian recipes in eight countries of the world including US and UK, its Managing Director Piyush Shaha said.

Talking to media here on Wednesday, Shaha said Jindal Agro has been operating with the objective of "creating" authentic indian recipes across the world.

Ever since its inauguration in December last year, Jindal Agro has been exporting Indian recipes worth Rs 1.50 crore to these countries every month regularly.

With a core competence and glorious legacy in culinary domian, Jindal Agro partners with certain popular private lebels to provide quality food products in different categories of flat breads, breakfast foods, snacks, curries and dinners.

Jindal Agro is equipped with an up-to-date infrastucture and other facilities, engaging modern processing technology to offer an assortment of ready to eat, "fresher than fresh frozen products," Shaha said.

Looking to good response to this venture, they have decided to set up agro processing unit at Dabhasa village in Vadodra district which will need an investment of Rs 30 crores, Shaha said.

Shaha said that Jindal Hotels Limited has acquired a huge plot of land in the village for setting up of Asia's first modular hotel room factory.
