GSCL Q1 net up 26%

Gulshan Sugars and Chemicals Ltd on Thursday reported a 26.18 per cent increase in its net profit at about Rs 95.4 lakh for the quarter ended June 30 compared to Rs 75.6 lakh in the year-ago period.

NEW DELHI: Gulshan Sugars and Chemicals Ltd on Thursday reported a 26.18 per cent increase in its net profit at about Rs 95.4 lakh for the quarter ended June 30 compared to Rs 75.6 lakh in the year-ago period.
"The growth in the quarter was mainly derived from significantly improved performance of the company and product namely calcium carbonate," company's Managing Director C K Jain said in a statement.
The company produces precipitated calcium carbonate.
