Dairy product maker Hatsun Agro bags tops exporter award

CHENNAI: Dairy product maker Hatsun Agro has bagged the Golden Trophy from the Agricultural and Processed Food Product Export Development Authority for largest dairy products exporter in 2012-13.

Hatsun Agro, Head-Marketing and Sales, J Prasanna Venkatesh received the trophy from Union Commerce Secretary, Rajeev Kher at a function held in New Delhi recently.

"..this award recognises the company's steadfast commitment to quality and innovation. This yet another milestone in the company's list of achievements", the Chennai-based company said in a statement.

Hatsun Agro manufacturers milk under the popular brand "Arokya", Hatsun Butter, Hatsun Panneer, Ghee and Arun Icecreams, the release said.
