Brooke Bond plays it ‘Saif’
The popular Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan takes off from where Hussain left off in the new campaign for the tea brand.
According to HLL, the association between the actor and the tea brand is natural. A release from the company says, "Taj has always been associated with people who believe in and demonstrate excellence - a value that the brand embodies in all that it does, and hence the long association with Ustaad Zakir Hussain. Just as the Ustaad symbolises excellence in his field, Saif's growth as an actor and his recent performances are a tribute to his desire and ability to excel. This aspect along with the passion Saif shares for the brand makes him the perfect candidate to join Ustaad Zakir Hussain in his association with Taj." The new campaign is incidentally Taj Mahal's second attempt to end its dependence on the appeal of Zakir Hussain.
