Baroda Dairy to pay Rs 10 more to milk producers from July 1
Baroda District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union Limited, popularly known as Baroda Dairy, has decided to pay Rs 10 more per kilogram of fat milk.
Talking to PTI, G B Solanki, Vice President of the Baroda Dairy, said, "Till now, milk producers were paid Rs 465 per kilogram of fat milk.
"Now, we have decided to pay them Rs 475 per kg. He also said the daily milk procurement by Baroda Dairy had gone up by 1 lakh litres to 4.25 lakh litres since November last year. Procurement had increased because the Dairy was giving better price than its peers, he said.
