Anik Industries launches milk in Tetra Pak packages

NEW DELHI: Dairy products firm Anik Industries Ltd today launched milk in Tetra Pak packages to cater to the increasing demand for safe and hygienic milk.

"Anik Milk will cater to consumers across North and East India, with a special focus on the North Eastern states as well as Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh," Anik Industries said in a statement.

Three milk variants--standard milk, toned milk and double toned milk will now be available to consumers in one litre Tetra packages, it added.

Anik Industries Joint Managing Director Manish Sahara said: "We are excited to associate with Tetra Pak and add their packages to our portfolio. This enables us to provide the consumer with a quality product at an affordable price."

Tetra Pak South Asia Markets Managing Director Kandarp Singh said Anik Industries' increasing presence in east and north India will now ensure that consumers in these regions will have better access to safe and hygienic milk.
