Amrit Food enters premium flavoured milk segment
Amrit Corp Ltd, makers of Gagan vegetable oil, has forayed into the premium flavoured milk market with the launch of 'Gagan Cafe'.

NEW DELHI: Amrit Corp Ltd, makers of Gagan vegetable oil, has forayed into the premium flavoured milk market with the launch of 'Gagan Cafe'.
'Gagan Cafe' would be available in four different coffee flavours, the company said in a release.
"We are the first to launch premium flavouring in this category in India. Globally, flavoured milk is among the fastest-growing dairy sectors, particularly in mature markets," Amrit Corp Director A K Bajaj said.
Amrit Corp, which has entered the segment through its food business unit Amrit Food, would make its product available throughout the country shortly.
"The company will leverage on conventional retail distribution, high-end organized retail and institutional sales (BPO, corporate and educational sector), besides some innovative tie-ups," Bajaj said.
With the launch of Gagan Cafe, the company is expecting a 20 per cent jump in total turnover.
The Amrit Group is a diversified conglomerate, manufacturing and distributing a wide range of edible oil products and FMCG commodities with an annual turnover of Rs 812 crore.
