All infant formula made locally: Nestle India

New Delhi: Nestle India has said all its infant formula brands sold in India are manufactured locally, amid ongoing investigations and recalls of its baby milk brands in several countries, following reports of contamination with toxins.

"We have conducted thorough testing on these products and can confirm that they meet all FSSAI and applicable rules and regulations," a spokesperson of the India unit of the Swiss foods maker said in an email. Nestle's infant formula brands in India include Nan Pro, Lactogen and Nan Grow. In recent days, France has opened five investigations into baby milk brands distributed by Nestle, Danone and Lactalis.
