Woodland to enter the eye wear segment soon: Harkirat Singh

Woodland stores across the country would soon be lined with a range of eyewear for both men and women said Managing Director, Harkirat Singh.

LUCKNOW: Woodland the footwear and adventure gear brand, would be entering the eye wear segment soon. Woodland stores across the country would soon be lined with a range of eyewear for both men and women said Managing Director, Harkirat Singh.

"Like our other products these would not just be like other sunglasses available in the market. Woodland's eyewear would both be fashionable as well as for full protection of the eye in extreme conditions or while taking part in an adventure sport" said Singh.

He said that Woodland was also active in the e-commerce space and almost 12-15 per cent of its total sales comes from e-commerce segment.

Singh said that the next phase of growth for the company would come from small towns and semi-urban areas where aspirations as well as income was rising. He said that Woodland enjoyed a strong recall in small towns and was confident of riding the growth in these areas.
