Ozone Ayurvedics to double turnover in 2011-12

Ozone Ayurvedics is looking to double turnover from its flagship skincare brand – Nomarks – to Rs 130 crore in 2011-12.

NEW DELHI: Ozone Ayurvedics, FMCG arm of Ozone group of companies, is looking to double turnover from its flagship skincare brand – Nomarks – to Rs 130 crore in 2011-12, the group’s managing director SC Sehgal said.

The company is set to launch a new age-specific skin cream range under the brand, 25 gm pack of which will be priced at Rs 70. The cream will be available in three variants targeting the teenagers, youth and women above 25 years of age.

“In this era of chemical substitutes for natural products, we are trying to make an effort to revive the ancient beauty system,” Sehgal said.

Ozone Ayurvedics is manufacturing this cream at its facilities in Guwahati and Baddi (Himachal Pradesh). The company already sells skin care cream as well as face wash under Nomarks brand name.

The company is also looking to set up a manufacturing facility in Europe to serve the demand for Nomarks in markets such as Thailand, Hong Kong and Austria, Sehgal said.

‘Nomarks’ competes with the likes of ‘Fair & Lovely’ and anti marks cream ‘ Clearasil’.

Ozone group clocked a turnover of Rs 150 crore in 2010-11 and is eyeing sales revenues of close to Rs 260 crore in 2011-12.
