Meat brand Fipola plans 100 stores across South by March end

The Chennai-based brand operates 48 stores in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, including 10 in Bengaluru, and has plans to have 100 plus stores by the end of March 2022, the company said in a press statement.

Meat and seafood retailer Fipola on Monday announced entry into Karnataka with 26 retail outlets in Bengaluru by March 2022.

The Chennai-based brand operates 48 stores in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, including 10 in Bengaluru, and has plans to have 100 plus stores by the end of March 2022, the company said in a press statement.

“This year we will complete five plus years in operating and managing 48 retail stores till date in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Vellore, Puducherry & Bengaluru. We now have plans for a large expansion pan India”, founder Sushil Kanugolu said, formally launching their brand in Bengaluru.


“We are in talks with venture capital firms to fund our expansion. We should have 250 outlets across India by 2023,” chief operating officer Sanjoy Kumar Das said. The company, he added, has targeted Rs 140 crore in revenues by the end of the current financial year, he added.
