Krauter to launch maternity care products
Krauter Healthcare will invest Rs 50 crore in next two years in setting up a manufacturing unit and introducing new products.
"As we are entering into newer categories, we are setting up a new manufacturing facility in Noida and will also invest in promotion activities in the next two years. The total investments in all these activities would be of the tune of Rs 50 crore," Krauter Healthcare Director Ajit Chauhan said.
Kruater primarily sells herbal babycare products under the brand name 'Tenderils' and is now entering into the maternity care products.
"We plans to launch maternity wear and a series of other products used by women during pregnancy," Chauhan said.
The company has also tied up with a Thailand-based company to launch 50 products in the next six months. The company will also be launching new products through similar tie-ups with German and Australian companies.
The company has also tied up with retail majors, such as Spencer's, Big Bazaar, Apollo Pharmacy, Lifestyle, Heritage Stores, besides other, across the country.
The company is expecting a turnover of around Rs 35 crore in the current fiscal and will all the new initiative taken by the company, it expects its turnover to cross Rs 50 crore by 2010.
