IPL IV: Godrej launches consumer connect initiative, Godrej Power Play
Just two days ahead of the beginning of the IPL, Godrej Group today launched a consumer connect initiative 'Godrej Power Play'.
The initiative was launched by Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle here.
"The game allows our consumers a chance to participate in the thrill of IPL, create their own teams and win rewards while creating a lifestyle of their own using Godrej products in the process," the company's Executive Director and President (Marketing), Tanya Dubash, told reporters here.
Consumers of all Godrej products across over 90-product categories, will be able to participate in the game, she said.
"We want to build a mass lifestyle brand through this initiative. Our Gojiyo and Godrej Khelo Jeeto Jiyo initiatives have been successful in this effort. We expect that the Power Play initiative will receive a huge response not only from the men but also from women," Dubash said.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said, "with the increasing popularity of cricket, women who are essentially the purchase influencer's in the house will definitely be excited with Power Play which is a combination of shopping as well as gaming."
