Honasa Consumer’s younger brands grew by more than 45% year-on-year in the second quarter of FY27, pointing to a broader growth base for the beauty and personal-care company beyond its flagship Mamaearth brand.

The portfolio includes The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Dr Sheth’s, BBlunt, Staze and Reginald Men. The company is increasingly relying on these brands to build a “house of brands” spanning skincare, hair care, grooming and other specialised categories.

The Derma Co. emerged as one of the stronger performers in the portfolio. Brand search interest reached an all-time high, with its index rising to 136 in Q2 FY27 from 100 a year earlier. The brand also expanded its offline presence to more than 65,000 outlets.

Honasa said its focus categories grew by more than 40% during the quarter and now account for over 80% of its total revenue. The performance reflects the company’s effort to move beyond a single-brand model and build multiple category-led growth engines.

Mamaearth, meanwhile, continued to grow at a high-teens rate and maintained EBITDA margins in the mid-teens, indicating that the company’s core brand remained profitable even as its younger portfolio expanded at a faster pace.

The company also continued to strengthen its offline distribution, reaching around 3.2 lakh general-trade outlets. Modern trade recorded more than 40% year-on-year offtake growth during the quarter.

Honasa reported its highest growth since listing in Q2 FY27, with revenue rising around 36% year-on-year to Rs 731 crore. EBITDA nearly doubled to Rs 93 crore.

The performance suggests that Honasa is gradually shifting from a Mamaearth-led growth story to a multi-brand beauty and personal-care platform, with newer brands gaining scale across both digital and physical retail channels.
