Himalaya enters into men's grooming segment with face wash

The company said men's personal care market in India is pegged at Rs 3,800 crore and growing at 21 per cent annually.

NEW DELHI: Herbal health and personal case firm the Himalaya Drug Company today announced its entry into the men's grooming segment with the launch of face wash.

The company said men's personal care market in India is pegged at Rs 3,800 crore and growing at 21 per cent annually.

"With the men's range, we aim to replicate our success in the face washes category ... we are also looking to expand the men's range soon," the Himalaya Drug Company Business Head - Consumer Products Division Rajesh Krishnamurthy said.

The company launched two face wash products-- the Intense Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash and Power Glow Licorice Face Wash priced at Rs 130 each.
