Former Reckitt Benckiser CMD CM Sethi passes away

Former Reckitt Benckiser chairman and managing director (CMD) C.M. Sethi passed away on Wednesday, marking the end of an era for one of the company’s most prominent leaders.

Renowned for his visionary leadership, Sethi played a pivotal role in expanding Reckitt’s footprint in India. He was widely respected in corporate circles for his strategic acumen and mentorship, shaping the company’s growth trajectory during his tenure.

Sethi is credited with transforming Reckitt Benckiser India by taking it beyond its flagship brand Dettol. Under his leadership, the company built a strong presence in household and personal care segments with iconic brands such as Harpic, Vanish, Lizol, and Mortein.
