Dabur Q4 net profit at Rs 66 cr
Total income of the company stood at Rs 446.27 crore at the end of the January-March quarter.
MUMBAI: Leading consumer goods company Dabur India on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 65.70 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, whereas the same was at Rs 50.22 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2006.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 446.27 crore at the end of the January-March quarter while the same was at Rs 334.84 crore in the previous fiscal, Dabur India informed the BSE.
Consequent to the merger of three subsidiaries Balsara Home Products Ltd, Balsara Hygiene Products Ltd and Besta Cosmetics with the company retrospectively from April 1, 2006, - the current period reflects post merger figures and hence are not comparable with figures of previous period/year, Dabur India said.
On an annual basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 252.08 crore where as the same was at Rs 189.08 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.
Total income was at Rs 1,794.53 crore while the same was at Rs 1,375.03 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006. On a consolidated basis, the group recorded a net profit after minority interest of Rs 76.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31 whereas the same was at Rs 49.96 crore in the year-ago period.
For the 12 months ended March 31, the group registered a net profit after minority interest of Rs 283.04 crore where as the same was at Rs 214.18 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.
The Consolidated total income stood at Rs 2,259.63 crore for the year ended March 31 where as the same was at Rs 1,912.94 crore earlier.
