Dabur launches shampoo, hair oil range under Vatika brand

NEW DELHI: FMCG major Dabur India today launched a new range of shampoo and hair oil under its Vatika brand and said the new products would be endorsed by actors Kajal Agarwal and Samantha Prabhu.

"This is the first-ever range of hair care products in India that have been enriched with Hibiscus, traditionally known to be effective in combating hair loss and dandruff," Dabur India said in a statement.

Kajal Agarwal would be endorsing the new variant of Vatika Premium Naturals shampoo, while southern cine star Samantha Prabhu has been signed as the face of the new Vatika Enriched Coconut hair oil with Hibiscus, it added.

Vatika Premium Naturals Shampoo with Hibiscus has been customised specially for the Andhra Pradesh market, the company said.

"Our shampoo portfolio has been growing significantly ahead of the category in the last few quarters, we expect Vatika Premium Naturals Shampoo with Hibiscus, Reetha and Olive Conditioning to further enhance our share in the shampoos category," Dabur India Head of Marketing-Vatika Hair Care Ajay Motwani said.
