Amway targets Rs 2500 cr turnover by 2012

Direct selling FMCG company Amway India Enterprises is targetting a turnover of Rs 2500 crore by 2012, a company official said today.

KOLKATA: Direct selling FMCG company Amway India Enterprises is targetting a turnover of Rs 2500 crore by 2012, a company official said today.

"We are aiming 25 per cent growth to clock Rs 2500 crore by 2012", William S Pinckney, MD and CEO of Amway India, said.

He added, the company had clocked a revenue of Rs 1407 crore in 2009, which was 22 per cent higher than its 2008 revenue.

Pinckney said the company that owns a factory at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, was considering setting up a new production facility to accomodate expanding business.

"We are evaluating various options on where to locate it and a decision will be taken by December," he said.

The company has recently also invested Rs 55 crore in its Baddi factory to add new capacity.
