Welspun bags order worth Rs 1,049 cr
Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Limited, the flagship company of the $ 1 billion Welspun Group of India, has bagged orders worth Rs 1,049 crore for the supply of line pipes for oil and gas applications.

MUMBAI: Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Limited, the flagship company of the $ 1 billion Welspun Group of India, has bagged orders worth Rs 1,049 crore for the supply of line pipes for oil and gas applications.
These orders take Welspun���s order book position to over Rs 3,500 crore, including the orders executed in the third quarter of the FY07. ���These orders have enabled Welspun to be booked for over a year. The new overseas order is an evidence of Welspun���s unique dominance of the burgeoning international market having huge potential,��� said the company in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday. Its stock was up 0.2% to Rs 109.6 at the BSE on Monday.
