Tanishq eyes 25% increase in turnover this fiscal

Designer jewellery brand Tanishq is eyeing a 25 per cent increase in turonver this fiscal on the back of expansions in the domestic and international markets.

JALANDHAR: Designer jewellery brand Tanishq is eyeing a 25 per cent increase in turonver this fiscal on the back of expansions in the domestic and international markets.

Even though the target is to achieve a 25 per cent growth this fiscal, escalation in gold prices by about 25-30 per cent in the current year has led us to believe that the turnover would be much higher than the target, regional business executive of the company Mayank Kampani said here at the launch of the company's new range of diamond jewellery.

The company would expand its presence in the country and plans to open two outlets in Punjab in the current financial year, he said.

Tanishq has 87 outlets in 62 major towns across the country and has plans for the overseas market as well.

Exhibitions and road shows are being planned in the US and Middle East countries in this regard, Kampani added.
