Gems and jewellery firm Shrenuj & Co on Thursday said it has entered into a joint venture with Israel-based SWA Trading to market branded diamonds 'Trapz'.

NEW DELHI: Gems and jewellery firm Shrenuj & Co on Thursday said it has entered into a joint venture with Israel-based SWA Trading to market branded diamonds 'Trapz'.
The company said it would introduce special cut diamonds under the 'Trapz' brand in India and will also export the brand.
"The Trapz brand already has a wide acceptance with leading jewellers worldwide. This partnership will further strengthen our position as one-stop shop for niche products," Shrenuj Managing Director Shreyas Doshi said.
He said the company will also export market the branded diamond.
The JV, to be called SWA Trading Co, will focus on special diamond cuts such as half moon, leafz, and stepped trapezoids which are used as side stones in solitaires, the release said.
