NEW DELHI: The Indian fashion space will soon have a new fashion label by Rohit Rajpal, Laila Rajpal and Sanjana Jon, who are set to launch a pret line that they claim would be "a global brand from India".

"Our products would focus on quality, will be mass oriented and most importantly affordable. It would be India's first global brand to the world," Rohit Rajpal of Exotique Exports told media here on Thursday.

The label, the name for which is currently being contemplated upon, would cater to the apparel needs of every age group from youth to professionals.

"We would offer a wide range for men, women and youth and later add accessories like bags and shoes to our product portfolio. Our products would be basically for the young at heart," Rajpal said and added that around Rs 1 crore would be earmarked to advertise the label.

With an initial investment of Rs 21 crore, Rajpal said the label would be merchandised through the franchisee model, national chain stores and flagship stores owned by the label.

By the end of five years, the trio hopes to set up 120 points of sales across the country, which would include all the three channels, he said, adding that the first two stores are expected to come up in Delhi by October.

Aiming to clock a turnover of Rs 125 crore in the next five years, Rajpal said the products would be priced at a reasonable rate and will be in the range of Rs 500 to Rs 5,000.

"Our clothes would have an international look but would be priced keeping in mind the Indian consumers, who are our main focus," New York-based creative director to the brand Sanjana Jon said.
