Rajesh Exports all set to launch Shubh Jewellers

NEW DELHI: Rajesh Exports said it has finalised the launch of its second jewellery retail chain under the brand name Shubh Jewellers.

The first set of outlets would start opening within the next fortnight and by April 2008 the company would open 100 stores spread across south India. The company is launching the retail chain under a franchisee model after acquiring the inventory of existing jewellers across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

While the company has restocked the jewellery stores with its own products, the outlets would continue to be operated by the old owners under a new brand (Shubh) on a franchisee basis.

A company statement said, “The launch of Shubh Jewellers is expected to significantly increase the topline and the bottomline of Rajesh Exports in the coming quarters.”
