Paramount Surgimed Ltd ties up with Axara
A Rs 70 crore company engaged in the manufacturing of surgical equipment and retailing of healthy lifestyle products on Monday diversified into fashion with tieing up with another compnay to cater to the need of fashion conscious women.

CHANDIGARH: A Rs 70 crore company engaged in the manufacturing of surgical equipment and retailing of healthy lifestyle products on Monday diversified into fashion with tieing up with another compnay to cater to the need of fashion conscious women.
The Rs 70 crore Paramount Surgimed Ltd tied up with Axara - an exclusive French brand for women - so that fashion is accessible to young women.
Axara Managing Director (MD) Meera Grover said that the company - incorporated in 1975 - have earmarked a budget of Rs 50 crore over the next four years in setting up 20 outlets across the country.
Axara now after opening a showroom at Delhi will open outlets soon at Ludhiana and Chandigarh too, she said adding that the compnay had 600 retail stores, including 150 mono brand shops, 80 corners and 370 multi-brand stores with a turn over of 30 million Euros across the globe.
After signing up with the Paramount Surgimed, the company proposed to open 20 outlets in the next three years with an investment of Rs 50 crore in a span of four years.
"The brand from Paris will gel with the Indian taste and culture and will induct European fashion at a correct price point," she said.
