Old Spice comes up with range of new products
No wonder that Old Spice has now come out with a range of new products targeted at the South Indian market. The newly launched products include body deodorants and after shave lotions.

KOCHI: Are these recessionary times an opportune moment to launch new products in the market? For Old Spice, the leading brand in men's toiletries and personal care products, it is. For it was in the 1930s, after the onset of the great depression, that the brand was originally launched, says company spokesmen.
No wonder that Old Spice has now come out with a range of new products targeted at the South Indian market. The newly launched products include body deodorants and after shave lotions.
Launching the new product variants Ice Rock, Lagoon and Sport, here on Wednesday Mr G K Bhat, managing director, MCPL India Pvt Ltd, the company that markets the products in India, said that after 3 to 4 months the products would be launched in North Indian market also. "South is our biggest market", he said.
International quality standards associated with the products safe ingredients and the use of high quality essential oils for fragrance etc are the highlights of the new products, he said.
MCPL had recently launched 'Insignia' brand of men's personal care products. In addition, the company also markets a premium range of baby care products under the brand name Biolane.
