NEW DELHI: Luxury product group Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) on Monday said it has appointed Vispi Patel as the new Group Director of LVMH India.
Patel would facilitate foray of the Group's retail fashion brands like Celine, Loewe and Thomas Pink into India and would coordinate various group activities under one umbrella, a company release said.
He has experience in government liaison for import duty reduction and rationalisation and is member of the Working Team, a joint initiative between Comite Colbert and Altagama member companies, with primary agenda to work on the duty structure, the release added.
LVMH operates through business divisions that manage brands in categories like Wine and Spirits, fashion and leather goods and watch and jewellery with more than 50 of the world's largest and oldest luxury brands.
