CHENNAI: FMCG major Henkel India has clarified that its toothpaste brand Neem Active does not contain diethylene glycol (DEG) or any bacteria.
In response to recent media reports based on an announcement by the Canadian health department on the occurrence of DEG and harmful bacteria in the product sold in Canada, Henkel India has got the product in the Indian market tested by independent agencies.
The test results have made it clear that there is no DEG or harmful bacteria in the product.
