Goldman Sachs picks up 5 lakh shares in Gitanjali

MUMBAI: Foreign fund Goldman Sachs Investments, Mauritius has picked up 0.82 per cent stake in Gitanjali Gems for Rs 12.95 crore in open market transactions.

Goldman Sachs Investments acquired five lakh equity shares of Gitanjali Gems at Rs 259 apiece through a bulk deal on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

As on June 30, Goldman Sachs held 1.33 per cent stake in the company, data available on the stock exchange show.
