First high-end retail store in personal care launched

BANGALORE: India's first high-end retail destination dedicated to personal care, cosmetics and perfumes "Bare Body Essentials" was launched here on Tuesday.
Spread over 3000 square feet, the flagship store will stock about 50 high-end global cosmetic brands for men and women in ultra-premium and speciality categories, U K Singh, Member of the Board, Bare Body Essentials told reporters here.
Under one roof, Bare Body Essentials will house an expansive array of products ranging from colour, cosmetic, skin care, nail care, bath & body care, hair care, men's grooming and fragrances, Shubhankar Thakur, Business Coordinator, of the store said.
Some famous international brands being showcased in India for the first time include Patricia Milton (Italy and Europe), Leonor Greyl (Paris), Bergman (Netherlands), Bloom Cosmetics (Australia) and Allure (U S A).
Apart from retailing high-end brands, the store will also offer specialised grooming services to its customers.
India, Singh said, has a growth rate of 30 per cent in cosmetics, one of the highest in the world and with Indians becoming well heeled, there is a need for this kind of an offering.
"We chose Bangalore to unveil our first store because Bangalore is very cosmopolitan and tuned to the global culture in cosmetics and toiletries", he said.
