Emami to seek shareholders nod for merger

Mumbai: Kolkata-based Emami Ltd today said it will seek shareholders approval for merging J B Marketing and Finance Ltd with itself on September 23.
Pursuant to the order of Calcutta High Court a meeting of shareholders of both the companies would be held on September 23 for approving the proposed Scheme of Amalgamation, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 266.10 on the BSE, down 1.43 per cent.
