The Covid 19 fallout has sharply reduced polished diamond exports , with one after another country locking down to contain the pandemic’s spread . India’s Exports of cut and polished diamonds in February 2020 posted a 40.92% year in year decline to $1.38 bn . The April -February 2020 figure declined 19.38% at $17.69 bn from a year ago .
